A COMMUNITY BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION SERVING JEAN-RABEL, HAITI 

SINCE 2001

               

 Introduction - AFCS-JR is a Florida non-profit corporation dedicated to help the Jean-Rabelian community through many community program services. Founded in 2001 by a group of concerned Jean-Rabelians to bring change to their homeland, AFCS-JR is incoporated in 2002 in the State of Florida.  AFCS-JR, Inc.  becomes a 501 (c) 3    organization according to the United States Internal Revenue Service Tax Code. Currently, the corporation is working hard to build a better community thru many not-for-profit program services and activities.

Mission Statement - Our mission is to serve the Jean-Rabelians Community at Home and Abroad by striving to provide the leadership, advocacy and resources necessary to enhance the life of the Jean-Rabelian community. Drawing strength from Sons, Daughters, and Friends of Jean-Rabel, we are facilitating a brighter future with the following goals: 

  1. Investing in early childhood.
  2. Promoting sport and cultural activities.
  3. Providing sustainable economic opportunities.
  4. Influencing community decisions.

Ultimate Vision - Our vision is three-fold:

  1. To ensure that children, ages 3-5, have the opportunity to go to school.
  2. To ensure that all Jean-Rabelians are exposed and potentially practiced a sport activity.
  3. To ensure socio-economic stability in the "commune" of Jean-Rabel.

  1. Founded by seven (7) natives of Jean-Rabel, Haiti in 2001 (Jean Levert Previlon - Rickard Civil - Wilson Innocent - Farah St-Fort - Jocelyn Civil - Yvon Senatus - Rosny Pierre Auguste)
